Design process

UPlatforms offers tailor-made Unmanned Platforms, designed and build to meet the specific mission objectives and fit the criteria.

We are taking the project every step of the way, starting with the mission planning and platform configuration selection, through detailed aerodynamic and stability analysis and 3D modelling to structural design. All parts of the design process are performed in-house using a variety of FEA, CFD and CAD tools.

In the near future our design process will be supported by the rapid prototyping and static tests which will allow us to push the limits of current composite technology. Once the design is flight-tested and proven, we will be able to start small-scale manufacturing using CNC machining and 3D printing to build advanced and incredibly lightweight FRP structures.
